Hospital Open Day 2026 - Saturday 16th May, 10:00 - 15:00
Salisbury Ƭ Foundation Trust is once again inviting the community to immerse themselves in what life at the hospital is all about. Visitors will discover more about the workings of their local hospital with a variety of demonstrations, activities and displays across a wide range of departments. Last year this included the popular toy hospital, hi-tech lifelike simulation manikins and the ‘fracture clinic’ in which children got plaster casts on their arms. The day promises to offer a fascinating experience for all ages, as it has over the past three years.
Managing Director Nick Johnson said: “We’re delighted to invite everyone from our community to come and get a behind-the-scenes look at what our skilled, dedicated staff do every day to provide quality care to our patients. Visitors will learn about the wide variety of roles that make our hospital work. This is our fourth year, and it promises to bigger and better than ever, offering a great day of fun and entertainment for the whole family.”
The Hospital Open Day will run from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 16th May. Public parking will be free, or catch the Salisbury Reds R1, 29 or 44 bus; food, refreshments and ice cream will be available. More details will be announced soon. In the mean time, you can see some of the highlights of last year's Open Day in this video:
