Hired modular buildings: Yes (value <拢250k) The Trust has use of one modular unit on hire through a building contractor in the time period stated, this is currently being used as a temporary decant facility to enable internal alterations within the main hospital. Purchased modular buildings: Yes (value <拢250k) The Trust has purchased one modular unit through a building contractor in the time period stated, this is a temporary facility currently being used by staff who have been decanted during internal alterations within the main hospital. Traditional permanant buildings: Yes (value >拢10尘) The Trust completed one new building in the time period stated, The Elizabeth Building, which houses an inpatient ward." | |

| Answer To Question 5: "A. The Trust has an Estates Strategy which is our Development Control Plan signed-off by the Executive Board. Whenever we carry-out internal improvements, for Health & Safety reasons, it is necessary to decant staff and services from their areas. We will always look to accommodate staff and services within the existing hospital as we work to restricted budgets, so this provides best value. Where this isn't possible, we consider displacing staff in other temporary accommodation, such as modular units, but this is consider a last resort solution due to financial pressures. Where we have a need to replace out-dated buildings, which is the case for our existing Day Surgery Unit, we have to seek 看片软件 funding and are going through the stringent business case process in respect of procurement and building type." | |
